Interesting George McClellan Facts
In 1955, George McClellan was assigned to
the Cavalry. Using his experiences from his extensive travels
in Europe, he designed a new riding saddle called "The
McClellan Saddle". This saddle remained in use with little
change until the end of the horse cavalry in the early 20th
century.
